have finally got the OK from the maker that they can make one and should be with me in 10-14 days time
its for the later versions 84-95.
will test it on mine just to make sure it will work ok and if all good will be taking it to a few 928 meets.

the alloy plug that usually seizes solid will need to be drilled out first, but this should then fully clean the threads.

certainly not a cheap thing, but if anybody needs their front tow eye threads cleaning was planning on charging a £10 donation to Help for Hero's- as for the calendars back in 2017 + would get a free genuine rubber plug for it.

will update this thread when i have it in my hand

forgot i had the rear tow eye mount, fits like a nice tight glove
i did ask the makers could make the drive end a 13mm spanner size nut, but sadly they could not.

when i did the SE a few years ago i managed to drill and pick out the alloy plug and could screw the eye in approx 1 turn then it went solid.
less than 5 mins with this tap and it now screws fully in, my guess, for the first time in its life.
corrosion that came out still on the bumper pictured
and found a 1/2" multi hex socket is a perfect fit to fit on the tap + short extension and a 1/2" T bar works a treat
now warm beer time and wait for England to kick some Norwegian ass at the football tonight
