Made some progress on the Tundra over Christmas Day with my pops. Overall pretty easy so far getting things apart
To save our backs some lift brackets to use an engine lift are a nifty little Bridgeport job. Trying to lift 70+lbs over the fenders using bolts screwed into the side of the charger has misery written all over it, working smarter and not harder is the way.
Current status is to pull fuel rail now and do the injectors and some coolant pipes and start assembly. The only thing I do not look forward to is dropping the 40gal fuel tank to install the new fuel pump.
Ended up mucking around a bit more with the GT3's interior and going to the leather set of seat inserts. Just awaiting a piece for the ebrake to show up from ebay as it appears the one I had got lost somewhere. I almost pulled the seats back out to install the OEM Clubsport cage, but since the car is slated to head to Markus in the fall for a full re-spray and carbon roof/doors some rear sheet metal work, it is easier to wait on that for the time being.
Was hoping the new gearbox would be here for the Widowmaker but it looks like it will be some time perhaps in February that it hopefully shows up. Which means I will have to get my ass in gear to get the 997tt project moving along which has mired on the lift for far too many years awaiting parts.
