Was driving to meet a friend for breakfast this morning when the PCM in my '22 Panamera GTS quit working - screen completely blank.
Figured much like computers if it was turned off and ignored for a while when I started it back up it would be fine. It wasn't.
Called the local dealer and they said bring it in. They checked the VIN and they had been notified just this morning there was a "recall or sorts" issued this morning and it needed a software upgrade. I was skeptical.
Took it in, they had it a couple of hours and called and said it was ready to go. Software update 9Y29000AF.
Back to normal.
