I don't really like the auto correct and auto complete stuff, it often does things I didn't intend. Can it be disabled?

Same question.

Just for the record the only place where there is an autocomplete feature on this board is on some of the automotive forums a topic suggestion might come up.

But everywhere else when you see it that feature is coming from your own device.
