Does this fit the bellcrank end of the pushrod that actuates the throttle body? I seem to remember something about that one not being cut for the retaining clip.

Not all of the ball cups have the hole through the neck to accept the retainer.

The cable from the linkage to the throttle body usually does not. At either end.

It does seem to vary year-to year with later years having fewer clips.

After sitting for some time my 928 had ABS issues. Would trigger the ABS pump while not moving.

I just pulled the ABS relay. When I cleaned the wheel speed sensors I found the male/sensor side plugs had deteriorated. The harness/female side seemed okay.

Is there a solution for this or do I just order new wheel speed sensors?

I'm ordering all the stuff I need to rebuild the AC system, need new main fan bearing, and while I have the dash out to inspect vacuum AC controls I plan on recovering it.

This car costs me $3000 minimum every time I touch it, it seems.

Air filter straps. Alternative source? Mine are starting to look crispy.

I went to order some this morning and got sticker shock $450.

OTTOMH, without trudging to the shop to look, I think it's the same as the bulb for the interior lights. Easy to check.

Not so. '91+ is different from -90. And it is as I wrote: same as interior lights.

I've noticed a new transmission leak, it's on the passenger side near the reservoir. It doesn't look like the pan gasket as it's wet above it as well.

Transmission last serviced in ~2021, last work done was changing the vacuum modulator ~6 months ago. That side is clean.

It wasn't leaking, drove the car a couple thousand miles, now it's leaking. I'd like to get it addressed before I take it off the lift bars tomorrow. Anything common?

Cap loose?

Is the cap's seal missing? Or wounded?

I loosened the cap and fluid started flowing out, tightened it back.

90% sure it's the cap now.

That's a project for next time around.

It's supposed to do that. When the automatic isn't turning (pump's not pumping) the fluid level is above the reservoir. Thus the cap must be tight and its seal must be in one good piece or fluid will leak when the 928 is stopped. Or when you loosen the cap.

anybody fitted an early version bottom pulley 92810213911 onto a GTS which should have the 92810213912 pulley ?
is there that much difference in alternator pulley size that you would need to fit the smaller belt ?
cheers

I have not and have no idea.

IIRC the larger pulley's purpose is to spin the alternator faster on auto-box 928s. But, the data in the parts pages augurs poorly.

an amazing rats nest of wire going on on these old fuse panels, i showed it to an apprentice mechanic at work today, did not want to know how to use a multimeter to test it all, just took a picture on his phone to send to his mates... :surrender:
