I know it's a sad state of affairs, but sometimes I prefer to use a mobile device instead of my "big-iron" for general purpose forum access. While it's true it can be much more satisfying to view some threads on a 32" monitor driven by the latest GPU, the convenience of sitting at breakfast and perusing the wisdom here on RLSS in small format is a nice option.

Searching the interwebs for Android forum apps hasn't proven helpful. And trying to filter through the hodgepodge of search results on the Play Store is more frustrating (would it kill them to allow result filtering and ordering?).

So what say you - which app(s) do you use and why?

Good question, I haven't tried. I was using that PoS GarageTalk on the old site, after the "official" app was abandoned.

I don't like to leave browsers logged in ("remember me") and my password manager integration with FF/DuckDuck isn't the best. I don't know how much difference there is between an app that stays logged in and a browser.
