Ive always liked the look of the older 3 spoke wheel and am thinking about picking one up. Will the older wheel..assembly attach to the 87 hub. Issues with the turn signals...horn etc ?

Part numbers for the "stuff behind the wheel" seem to be the same '78 to '89.

One of my clients loves the old-school 930 steering wheel. Pricey that. But, the new one he brought bolted right on his '88.

You know, Momo has come a long way if you don’t mind aftermarket.
Multiple three spoke wheel models that look pretty period correct.
You would have to want 350mm size. Which does give you a more tactile feel, but that includes just a little highway tram lining at least on my car.
Probably cheaper then finding a factory model too.
I’m not crazy about the horn pad choices but if you look hard enough you can find one that’s acceptable.
It would also require hub adapter so not plug and play by definition.

Why would a steering wheel be the cause of your tram-lining? That doesn't make sense to me. Please elaborate!

Yeah, maybe not the best description on my part . I think of tramlining as the feeling of grooves and depressions in the road and the tires wanting to follow those things.
The smaller steering wheels are a lot more tactile as Sterling mentions.
The 350 mm wheels don’t cause tramlining per se, just increases what is there. You tend to feel everything on the road more. I like it, but it isn’t for everyone.

I am actually in the middle of wrapping my Momo Evolution steering wheel.
I received my custom leather wrap from Wheelskins yesterday
