Anyone have one hanging around they'd be willing to part with? I'd like to take some measurements before I disassemble my own front suspension, to minimize the down time.

Any help is appreciated.

I have a pair of used and a pair of new, both currently not fitted. The used pair come from a 94 manual GTS with 225k miles , and for anyone not familiar with UK roads, a lot of them don't have a good road surface and this puts a lot of stress into suspension systems and tyres .

If you let me know what measurements you are looking for I can measure the old and new ones. From memory , I was surprised how little difference there was after such a high mileage .

That post has remained open for me for quite a while and I go back to it often. What I couldn't get from it were measurements on the parts but maybe I need to go back and read more carefully. The difference in height of new vs collapsed parts is totally clear; what I'm looking for are things like bolt distances, radii, clocking of the spring stop (if any), etc. I'd like to try to figure out how difficult it would be to put together an alternative and understanding the original parts seems like a good starting place.

Cheers
