Hey Gentlemen.
First question.
I was looking for confirmation on proper adjustment of lateral inclination.

WSM explains process, but describes counter clockwise rotation of the bearing unit, while I interpret the arrow as going clockwise.
So sanity check please that this is typo in WSM.

The tranny input rod and bearing (without the selector rod clamped), won’t rotate more clockwise.
But will rotate 5-7 degrees counterclockwise. Red arrow.

Ok, my interpretation of CCW was mistaken. Red arrow movement moved it way too far to drivers side.
Using WSM arrow, or letting it sit snug in that direction, while moving shifter 2-3 degrees to left seemed to work.

Direction References are always in the context of the vehicle's forward movement axis.

Thus, anti-clockwise is as viewed when standing behind the transaxle.

Selector of course needs to be not in gear.

Was there another question?

I anticipated more questions.
The rest was by the book.

The “noise” still there.

I went back to stock front link as well. Just to get baseline shift pattern just in case.

All gears are there, first is more notchy then I remember. Inherent looseness without the Hans gear on.

Or you are getting incomplete disengagement of the clutch due to worn intermediate plate adjusters or simply not enough release bearing travel.

You notice this now, because your clutch discs are thicker now.

The fork gap for intermediate plate is set at 1.2 mm.
WSM has two ranges: 0.7 to 1.0 and 1.2 to 1.5mm.
Recommendations on this?

I did mess around with travel of release arm, and clutch stop for pedal.
Max I could get was 21mm at disengagement position. Minimum was 14. I think WSM describes 17 mm as recommend.
I don’t know if release arm travel can influence TOB directly, because of glide tube in fixed position?
