No, not *that* kind of drive-by. I have a possible wireless LAN deployment project in a upper scale outdoor shopping area called Phillips Place (south of downtown in the South Park area) and I'd love to be able to get actual eyes on the place. Unfortunately, my draft proposal is expected to the client by Thursday. I don't need anything too in depth, I am just trying to spot cameras, speakers, etc on the outside of the buildings, where they are mounted and a few other details.

Shoot me a note if you'd care to have a quick call with me and then make a drive to the place and basically walk down one street and then back up the other side while being on the phone with one of my engineers.

Correct, not as good as we need. SOP on almost every project these days starts with a visit to Google Earth. I hate Google with a passion but they have their uses.

My calendar is pretty light tomorrow so I can head down that way between mid-morning to lunch-time.

I'll have my son with me but I don't think that should affect anything.

Will send you a DM with my cell # so you can text me details, time, etc.

Heck, teach him how to take the pictures.
Good idea having him do it. Looks more innocent.

Years ago when we moved here I had a Paul Blart mall-cop ask me to stop taking pictures of the skyscrapers in Uptown for "security" reasons.

What crap. I just crossed the street and took my photos from there.
