A non-brand specific thread for cars and coffee. Just some of the interesting cars at the local cars and coffee, I did not take pictures of all 200+ cars.

The last photo may be the rarest Item I have come across at cars and coffee.

I've gone to a few cars and coffee in my area/Northern Vermont. Most of the cars are tuned shitboxes and it's a circle jerk amongst the owners. Some cool stuff shows up and they're largely overlooked.

Here's how a conversation goes:

Them: Yeah I've done all these performance mods.Do you like the "stance"?
Me: Does your car go any faster through turns with 10 degrees of negative camber?
Them: not really, It's kind of nervous too. I do go through tires often, thats why I cheap out on tires.
Me: Isn't that an "anti-performance" mod?
Them: Whatever bro.

No thanks.

There was a Jensen Interceptor at a C&C I went to in August, with a heavily modded Chrysler lump. Balanced/blueprinted, ported, polished, you name it. Very nicely remade interior with terrific leather. Paint was Aston Martin quality. It was super cool. I wound up talking to the owner, no one else did.

There are are a few of those rice burners at our local C&C, but only a few amongst a couple hundred cars. And because the local museum sponsors the C&C there are always a fair number of very high end collector cars in attendance as well. I'm always amazed at the variety of cars out the local C&C, given its RI, I never figured there were be a large car community.

The "stanced" cars are largely naziwagens around here. BMW 3 series, Audi A3/A4, Jettas and Golf's and of course WRX's. It's unusual to find the usual suspects. Most of the uberpremiums we have here aren't owned by C&C type people. Think Connecticut/Westchester NY/North Shore people with vacation homes. We do host an event in Stowe called the "British Invasion. I went this past fall with my AM and only one other AM person was there. It was loads of Mini's (BMW variety) with many of them "stanced", about half as much classic minis (which I like) a few Jensen Healy's and Interceptors and a handful of Jag's. MG's and Triumphs were everywhere. Oddly enough a Bristol, a handful of Morgan's and a TVR. Of course all the BMW/Mini guys were having a circle jerk the whole time.

This KTM X-Bow showed up at our cars and coffee yesterday. 493 Hp from an Audi sourced engine and a weight of 2450 pds.

Interesting side note, KTM went into bankruptcy last week .
