Since I'm on a tear documenting a ton of other stuff I thought I'd add this one since it's not on the other site.
my seat bushings were found it pieces after removing the passenger seat to remove the rear AC lines. I used a set I found on ebay that were sold for the 964 and 993's. The sellers have no idea what else they fit.
My seats are 1990 comfort seats but I modified them years ago before getting them recovered as sport seats.
Here is a set of the new bushings pictured with what was left of my old ones. I bought 2 sets and will do the drivers seat soon.

The threaded brass inserts needed a bit of light sanding to fit inside the larger square bushings. the new ones are much bulkier and sturdier than the originals.
the steps are well documented for the 964's and 993's & is pretty easy to do. The pic above is only one side of the passenger seat bushings. They are sold on ebay per seat so you'll need 2 sets to do both seats.
