Major change on RL is that one particular tech expert has elected to share. Up til now, for many years, modis operandi was to tease and almost troll. Major positive shift if it sustains.

But I'm here now, RL is secondary.

What have I been missing?

GB much more thoroughly answering tech questions. He can contribute impactfully.....if and when he wants to. Can also go all diva troll, take marbles and go home. I respect the former.

I think he figured he'd better do something after the last tantrum. Roger is still salty about that. I just wonder if I'll be able to get parts from him when I need them since Roger isn't carrying his stuff now.

Not new to the issues following any group ,club, organization or community mentalities.
The 928 community is one of the strongest family type communities in the automotive world. Not unlike a family everyone has different views and fight over petty issues. Sometimes turning into self destructive situations. However I have yet to meet anyone in this community not willing to help me or anyone else at a seconds notice. Re-note family. And be dammed another model step into this pool of Sharks. If I overstepped or offended then I guess I have been adopted by the wrong community.
What was left off is that sometimes changes need to be made to wake up the community. This may just be the change we need.

I agree that from what I've seen the community of 928 owners is very tight-knit and regardless of any past differences will come together to help a fellow owner.

Our philosophy here is that we don't want to be the community that takes offense to anything and everything, or a community that continually censors and bans users for invalid reasons, basically a place where you can relax and not worry about walking on eggshells as you'll be accepted as you are.
