Also added the location feature to your profiles.

The like feature is actually a heart on the top right corner of the post. Not quite what was on the other board but will do for now.

Searching for some other features I can add now!

Next, insert gify functionality... So we can appropriately thank you in a situation like this.

Just added Giphy functionality.

It's not as seamless as other solutions but it still works.

Under the post box (when using the full editor) you'll see a tab labeled "SEARCHPHPBB_PAGE" where you could type in your Giphy search terms.

I did the word awesome and here is what shows up. It will say some weird message about "I have childs" but just click OK and here ya go. (I'm going to see if I can change the language a bit within the code to make it more intuitive):

That is a great feature as well.

Let’s see some level 800000 skillz... Can you make it so that we can embed BitChute videos? I figure YT will have most Conservative content fully purged w/in the next month or two.

You may want to start requiring a login to post. This site will be found pretty quickly and there will be a lot of cleaning to do.

Holeeeeeeeeee shit, Fernando!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YOU are the man.

It is nice to see all the familiar names, it turns out THAT was the reason I was in P&C so much.

The IHI thread is already a winner (with them orange sweater puppies!)

I gotta tell you guys.......... shedding the mod cloud that has hung over my head for so long, has been liberating............

The hearts didn't really fit our style here so now we're using Thumbs Up!

Yeah they're a little deformed but I gotta work with what the developer gave us and he is using icons instead of images. But I'll keep playing with it!

Yes Fernando you absolutely deserve props on the set up, quick turn around and roping in the herd! :D

PS, I hope no one was offended by my "Bite Me" avatar, thought it was appropriate to start things off here. In hindsight I should have bagged the ib in front of my username, but oh well. Or...admin?

I don't seem to be able to copy/paste pics so far. Normally I can copy a picture off my FB page and just paste them in the reply box and it shows up. Something to look at in the future.

Done!

You might have to wait a little while to see it (or try another browser) but it's a tiny silhouette of a 930 in black and white.

I'll work on researching the other asks on this thread.

I just added a feature where you can COPY an image into your clipboard and then click CTRL-V to paste into the editor.

Unfortunately the image doesn't show within the editor itself and will instead display something like "IMAGE0.PNG" but when you go to preview the post you'll see your picture.

Give it a shot and let me know if any problems with it.

Was curious if that works on usernames that include spaces (or other non alphanumeric characters). Non-trivial lexical scanning issue there.

Let's try it out on @i am not a traitor (who, coincidentally, first requested the "@" feature, I believe).

Nope, doesn't seem to work (as of 30-Jul-2020 4:10 PM CDT).

Hmmm...

but by reading

I see that I can try using the "mention" bracketing tags, which results in @i am not a traitor.

That's weird, it just worked for me with someone with spaces in their username. Let's try it here:

I'm using a default editor, I guess (haven't checked), and browser is Edge. Perhaps that matters.

I also note that there doesn't seem to be a (bracketed) POST tag to reference individual posts. Didn't check for a THREAD tag yet.

@Ed Scherer Now THAT is ironic!

The mention that you manually made with the brackets didn't actually notify me. @tooloud10 Worked for me though.

Mentions with spaces seem to work fine with me. I'm using windows with Brave browser.

Just discovered the most kick ass new feature. I always click new posts so I get the list of......you know. Anyway, hover your cursor over the thread and a [+} pops up and you can click that and get a preview of what the first post is w/o clicking the thread.

I like that.

We actually already have that in place. Not sure anyone saw it though. It's the exclamation point inside of the triangle:

If you're using desktop it should be up on the top right corner when you click on "View all unread posts":

Unfortunately it doesn't appear on mobile because of space restrictions. But if it looks like something we really need I can look into whether it can fit or not.
