bought a job lot of 928 parts a few weeks ago and was about to list the inner cambelt plastic housing 92810514707 and found it was actually an 05 version, which did not come over to the UK as its for the 86.5 32v engine.
i have a spare 07 one so put it on top of the 05 version to see what the difference is.
as pictured the ONLY difference is the 07 version has a cutout where the 05 is a sold square piece of plastic, everything else is identical in every way.
so easy to cut an 05 to make an 07
as pictured below the 05 86.5 is on the bottom and the 07 87-95 version is on top of it
might help somebody someday.
cheers
Phil

Interesting.
The lower roller bearing is the same S3-S4 right?
At some point there was two but I can’t remember if that was early or late model years?

I use a 2 roller on my 86 block with S4 rear cam cover.
