I have a car stereo that is capable of playing music MiniDiscs, does anyone have some music in that format that I can try it out with?
Borrow or buy, I just want to see if it works

I have a bunch of MiniDiscs. Several rare, unopened ones, but also some that you could borrow to try out. I hope you like Rob Zombie or Pearl Jam!

I watched my original copy years ago, but the one you gave me is still sitting right by my VCR. Maybe I'll pop it in this weekend!

If it's something inexpensive that could be tossed in an envelope and mailed, that would be great.

I forgot to update this thread with a thanks to XR4Tim for the loan of a couple MiniDiscs
My experiment proved that the Gathers deck wouldn't load it, so it was the excuse to replace it with a modern double-DIN multimedia player from Crutchfield.
It was such a massive upgrade that I decided to also order 4 new Kenwood coaxial speakers from them to bring the whole system from 1998-spec to 2025.
A nice bonus is that rather than connecting my MP3 Player audio output with the mini-plug, using the USB Input allows the MP3 to display the track information on the big screen as well as charging it
