Great iconic Kermit color, pascha interior, 5 speed, no sunroof, ROW config - went for final hammer at $142,069! :jumper: :eyepop: I bid early on it at $15K, and would have gone higher, but it took off way past my budget. I think both well sold and well bought.

I was surprised there were no comments when I posted in the 928 For Sale thread. But this one certainly deserves its own thread.

Lotta money for a resto with the air filter upside down, some rusty bolts, some bolts in backwards, etc.

Makes me wonder what else was done while they were learning.

But, waddooeye know… :hiding:

I guess it’s all good.

Someone was learning on the AC temperature (?) vent thingy on the dash - it's one of the things I look for in assessing prior maintenance.

I was surprised it still had what looks like the "puffy" rear visors.

If I want to get real nit-picky, someone had something heavy leaning against the interior rear quarter panel, and they didn't tuck in the center console side panel all the way.

It surprised me at how much "excitement" started at the very beginning of this car's auction. It reminded me of being in the audience when a small unknown band was being introduced once - there was a guy going through the crowd whooping and hollering and clapping, but it was all show, no real emotion. Anyone he passed by (like me) could see that, but most didn't. He was a plant to stir up the crowd!

Anyway..., what were we talking about?

Oh, yeah:

@Crisis your post is what made me go look at it. I will link this thread in the For Sale thread, for the sake of future archeologists.
