32v aftermarket EFI testers/developers wanted (Complete harness/computer replacement)

As part of the twinscrew development, I made the decisions to move away from the Motronic system to get better control and safeguards. After much research and debate, I settled on using the MaxxECU Race and developed a complete harness replacement that converts the 32v engine to full sequential fuel and ignition with coil-on-plug, active ethanol monitoring, fuel pressure, fuel temp, oil pressure, oil temp, wideband knock sensors, and a host of other sensor upgrades.

This eliminates the stock harness, LH/EZK, MAF, coils, plug wires, caps/rotors, factory cam position sensor, and narrow-band O2 senor.

I have been running this system on my daily driver for over two years, and it has proven to be very reliable.

The production run of harnesses was recently completed, and I have two spare units from the first run.

I am looking for some enthusiasts with background in engine management who would be interested in playing a roll in developing and improving the control strategies.

The Maxx hardware/software is very flexible, and allows for some really powerful features to be user developed. I have just started scratching the surface with what all is possible. Time being a limiting factor with concurrent development of other products, I think getting these last two harnesses out there and other people sharing some ideas and configurations would be really constructive.

The harness, adapters, sensors, mounts, ECU... etc would all be supplied at an extreme discount versus the next batch in Q1 2025. There is the added benefit that all the materials were sourced for this batch back in 2001/2002, so the overall cost is already less, and the lowest it will ever be.

If you have any interest in a modern engine management system for your S4, please send me a PM to discuss. At this point in time, I am looking for people experienced in aftermarket EFI or strong fundamentals in tuning/logic/PLC/programming... etc.

All pieces are currently available for S4 installation. S3 installation is possible, but some changes may be needed with brackets or to the intake manifold sub-loom, so any potential S3 owner would need to be willing to provide some additional time with taking some measurements and testing revised parts when necessary.

This will be launched to a wider audience next year after an installer network is established.

As I wrote to you in private I will be one of those end users with the complete Plug & Play iteration in 2025.
It is unfortunate that I have absolutely no engine management programming capabilities, otherwise I would have been all over this offer.

So I will continue to wait :banghead:

this is an amazing opportunity, as finding a plug and play option for the 928 does not exist, and most people lack the time or skill to make an entire EFI harness.

And for anyone that may be interested, these are fully concentrically twisted harnesses with M22759 Tefzel wire and DR25 sleeving. All auxiliary connections are Deutsch, and all sensor/actuator connections are sealed. The chassis/power/dash connections are through a custom CE panel connector, so plug-in without any modification to any original wiring or additional fuses/relays.

Hans is the Flappy kept in your configuration?

There is a provision for the flappy solenoid. However, if you don't use the flappy (boosted application) that output is repurposable for another function.

Sorry for the late reply, I just saw this. Is it too late to get in on this?

Cheers

Shoot me an email or message. There may be one more left from the first batch.
