Morning fellow 928 misfits!
Well, I'm in TX but not gonna make the event. It is 07:53 Saturday morning, I figure you guys are all trying and vying to get your machines lined up for the fun run. It's raining here in San Antonio... you guys still have your summer tires on, right?
My car has sat untouched in the garage here for 3 years or so. My wife had removed the front wheels and put some new tires on. I changed the oil and coolant yesterday, put on my MT license plate, and went to start it- dead battery. I jumpered it and she fired right up (as she always does) but the battery is 100% snafu. Also I forgot that the clutch pedal only returns half way... the clutch works but I have to pull the pedal up from where it has engaged up to the resting neutral position. Not sure why that is, I messed with the spring up behind the dash but that's not it. PS how cool is it that on these cars you can adjust not just the engage travel but also the spring assist?
Anyway, I mostly came to TX to scout out possible locations for a potential future move back this way. Wife and I are taking her truck up to the NE corner and gonna poke around for a few days. And yes, we are BOTH staying in a tent!
