Pretty Good Weekend for Porsche

1st place in both prototypes and GT classes at Spa and Laguna Seca Sat and Sun. The 963 isn't dominating like it's predecessor the 956/962, but it's coming into it's own now in season 2. I'm quite surprised at the 911s finishing top of podium on both sides of the pond. Just when you think the development has stalled, they pull off another (2 actually) win.
I saw Roger Penske on a post race interview. He was at both circuits this weekend. Pretty hardcore considering his age. He looked strong during the interview, good on him!

I'm glad they're seeing this type of success as hopefully it keeps the accounting department funding the engineers.
As for Penske, man is almost 90 - quite impressive considering he has done it all and could just rest now. But nope!

Yeah, Penske is pretty amazing. Love seeing Porsche on the podium. Do you think they'll get an F1 seat/car?
