Is it possible to get a spoiler function working? I really appreciate Louis’s, but without the spoiler it kills my phone. I have to reboot sometimes because it chokes on all of the links.

I actually think it's not working properly. It shows up but doesn't hide anything. Let me see if I can get it fixed up.

There is a yellow triangle icon with exclamation mark (if you ever owned a cayenne, you’d recognize it instantly.

It inserts “[ spoil ] [ /spoil ]”(without the additional spaces I put in) and whatever you put inbetween those two will be hidden by spoiler.

Doesn't seem to be working on my phone. Clicking "Show Spoiler" in any of these posts does nothing.

Spoilers seem to work for some and not for others. I don’t understand. Is it possible it works in this subforum but not the dive bar?

Works for me here and dive bar. Android phone, Chrome browser.

I think it's browser and device-related.

There shouldn't be any difference in terms of setup between forums, only the permissions differ but all else remains the same.

Going to continue researching.

last night I started to put things into the spoiler but they do not work

you can not open them

Let's try that and if it works I'll replace the old one with it.

It's not been working for me when I click on the spoiler tag in posts. Just stays as a clickable icon.

Using Chrome on Win10

It is working for me in this post only. The spolier icon is different than the ones above.

Yeah right now we have two spoiler functions enabled because I wanted to see if this new one worked. If it does I'll remove the old and replace it with this new code instead.

The old one is "spoil" while the new one is "spoiler"

I no longer see the Spoiler Function - just wondering about this since it appears that when posting to may tweets in one post people experience slow downs on page loads


I saw another post from you about reducing the amount of Posts per page

not sure if you can just do it for certain threads but I think 25 posts per page for the Antifa / BLM thread would perhaps hell and reduce the slow down of loading those pages

You are correct, it is missing and not sure why. Let me see what may have happened here and try to get it back in place.

The show/hide button on all subsequent instances only reveals the first spoiler instance.

Specially with image attachments.
