In an effort to expand functionality and create more value for our users, I'm happy to announce the framework for an article repository!

The purpose of this is to create an archive of technical content, guides, and anything that should be preserved over time. This area will have enhanced search capabilities, tagging of content, printing, exporting to PDF, and multimedia presentation.

Since I don't have much to populate this part of the site yet I "borrowed" some articles from other sites. Of course if the original authors object to this I'll take them down but over time we'll populate this with original content or material that is mirrored from other sites with the appropriate permission. If you'd like to contribute, please do reach out!

Also you might notice that this part of the site looks a little different than the forum. We're using a content management system platform there which will expand functionality tremendously in the future. One of the upcoming features is a "Classified ad" section which is why you might notice the little shopping cart on the upper-right corner. This will be coming soon but I'm still setting up and testing.

Vendor sections for those interested in sponsoring and user galleries (to store your photos and signature images) will also be coming soon too.

It isn't obvious how one might go about creating a new article.

They would have to be submitted to me and then I can publish. I can create a section with self-submissions but wanted this to be the "clean" area where the content remains static but there can still be comments associated with each article.
