Ok.

Are those adjustable Konis? If so, I might be interested in them, the Eibachs, the threaded collars and adjusters. PM if yes.

Nothing. RDK sender and bracket occlude the ball joint in the picture.

Ah, did not know that. Red Witch is pre-RDK.

PM in process.

In my experience, the Koni's are the best choice with stock springs. I've never had to remove a set of those from a customers car because they were unhappy but have had to remove Bilsteins several times. Sachs are more of a comfort shock, too soft for me.

Or, how about my 87 S4 which had a car b q?? This is the after photo. I picked up the car in Ontario, and it was a no start. Luc(Oups59) came to my house on a Sunday morning with the LH and EZK modules, to see if that was the problem. It started right up. 4 hours round trip. Talk about helping a brother out....above and beyond the call of duty.
Called Roger, ordered lots of parts( timing belt, water pump, Porken tensioner, gaskets hoses, screws, and lots more). One month later, kaboom! A write off!
Anyways, I’m back with Luc’s car, as soon as the snow melts.
Cheers

Thank you Don!

Yes it was at ICAR in 2016.
My car won the judges "Coups de coeurs" trophee both days for the Porsche group. They chose two each day.
It's cool that they chose the 928 among all the other Porsches. Old and recent models.
This is part of the cars there one of the two days.

Hey Bertrand. I was there in Sept/2016, at a Porsche gtg, trying out the new Boxsters. 8 different cars, lead by a pro driver, around the track, with walkie talkies..8 cars, which we rotated drivers and car every 4 laps. I can’t remember the last time I had so much fun.

Had to do that a few times Worf.

This morning Rogers delivery person showed up with this for me. Put the extended hub on it and now a super tall dude can drive his car w/o beating up his knees as he turns.

Geez! After my car b q, I had a complete rust free,S4 body, and I could not give it away.. I chopped it into 10 pieces and put it in my trailer to take it to a scrap yard, where they gave me$28 for the scrap.Shit, it cost me more than that in sawzall blades, to cut it up.

Thanks. Give all the glory to Luc(Oups59).. I just bought it from him, in this beautiful shape. I have not even picked it up yet. Waiting for the snow to melt.
One more photo. Luc gave me the choice of seats. Comfort or Sport. It was an easy decision.
Regards. And sorry that I can’t help you guys more, presently with technical stuff, as I haven’t had a 928 for 5 years, but I will catch up quickly.

Switching carpet to cork. Door panel still has the old cashmere colored carpet. Cashmere gets dirty too easy and looks washed out. Cork was an available color on the early cars but I think it’s going to look really good with the mahogany dash, and tan leather. I really wished the mahogany carpet was still available. I would have gone with that.

OK, busy weekend - panel refresh. I've done this job on my other 928's, and is very easy to do, just be careful when unhooking the lower rack of plugs - don't forget to pull out the red tab in the low center of the panel, then carefully lift each tab in the corner of the plug and gently pull out. Get things organized for later reassembly, like plug position. Need to finish all of this for Carlisle, otherwise suffer the grief of this bunch by bringing my 997 instead. :hiding:
