Joel, I like it. Perhaps equally provoking to the woke counter-culture as well as to the religious right?

Obligatory photo:
On the subject of waking, here we are waking "Schrödinger's 928" from winter sleep. Never seen this much sludge in the air-oil separator! Ok, it's not really a lot. But more then I've ever seen. And, those are water droplets on the bottom of the Provent's cap.

Yes. Took the heads to SeanR and he fixed me up.

I just cleaned the block and piston tops by hand.

Be very mindful of the PK'T directions and the measurement therein to ensure that you have enough travel of the tensioner roller.

great day at Pitt Race yesterday. I use my 997 for HPDE duty, and yesterday I was out to just hang around. Took the 928 out for some "parade laps" at lunch when the track went cold. I was the only one out there, and had fun. This is definitely not a track car, but it was still fun to drive it somewhat hard through the track twisties.

Some fresh gas and a first official errand. Just a random pic as i turned around to look. Ill get some good shots at a later date.

its been nice to work on it when i wanted...not pressed to be needed as my daily.

a few things left to do, but its driveable. Next is PPF on the hood, bumpers, mirrors and front fenders.

any input on brand etc...

Yep a compete strip, it’s going out for paint soon.

Just got some goodies back from my powder coater. All PC except for the wheels, they are painted to match the factory silver.

As soon as the chassis is out I will start the strip down of the engine for a full rebuild. Most likely sleeved.

This is a weird one. I was driving along and heard something like a chain bouncing under the car. Then I saw my hood was popped up.

A local car show today. 250 Porsche’s were supposed to show up. I bailed early, as it was very hot, and very little shade.
