I'd totally do it. Looks safer than a motorcycle to me and has several advantages over it too.
But I wonder if the FAA will try to shoot it down (pun intended) and make it too difficult for the average person to even consider?

it is really cool, and would be fun to do. But my scared threshold is how bad would it hurt if I crashed? With that, it seems like it might be tolerable. Not instant death, although depending on the injury, death could be a blessing. I guess I'd try it.
