Looks like we've been discovered and have been subject to a bunch of spam in the last couple of days.

I'll do my best to harden security but even so it will always been an uphill battle.

The best way to get rid of these quickly when you see them is to report them using the "Report this post" function shown below. This will flag the post and send me an alert so I can act on it as soon as possible.

So I noticed a "Bing (Bot)" listed as a member today.

Those aren't bad as they help to index the site so users can find us in search results. It's the pesky Chinese and Russian bots that cause issues.

I made some changes to the registration process so let's see if that helps at all.

What's really amusing is we own that 928 truck now. Plan was to put an engine/trans back in it and drive it as a parts truck. Need to get it out of storage and put it back together.

I did that to them. They use those fields as a way of adding links to their profiles so that they get search engine authority for their spam sites. I will probably delete these accounts but before I did I wanted to make sure that they got no benefit from spamming this forum.
