Puffing sound in interior

Once in a while, when stopped (high vacuum condition), I'm hearing a fairly rapid/steady puffing sound from somewhere behind the IP. It's like pup pup pup pup pup pup, at maybe 3 Hz ( 3 pups/sec) I assume it is some kind of leak in the HVAC control system. Thoughts?

Yup.

What’s IP?

Let's see: "Puffing sound in interior" - IP seems pretty clear to me, no?

Interior Panel? Which one?
Interior Penis? Not my problem.
Interior Portal? For what?
Interior Plastic? Lot's of plastic.

I was thinking Instrument Panel.

If that's the case, could be a leaky brake booster, or any number of hoses or vacuum actuators scattered under the dash...

I withdraw the question. Thanks. Like I stated, I expect it is HVAC related - I'll investigate it.

So, we ask for clarification of your mystery post and you decide to pack up your marbles?

I’ll admit that due to 202[01] my grumpy asshole knob is at 11 and I’m now guilty of calling the pot black. :surrender:

I still have no idea what IP stands for.

Trust me, I'm not packing up my marbles - I'm cool with it. IP - Instrument Panel...dashboard, can't think of anymore. I pretty much diagnosed myself, was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this sound. That is all.

2020 sucked - I predict 2021 is going to be great - keep a close eye on the next several days!

So, IP meant Instrument Panel and you try to clue us in thusly:

I have some personal/professional questions about Grump Cat’s cause of death Dave, just FYI ;)

Officially listed as “urinary tract infection”, it sounds fishy. It’s pretty difficult to die from a uti, truth be told.
Pyelonephritis is an ascending infection into the kidneys but even so, treatable.
Somebody dropped the ball Dave!
:order:

You got me Man. I didn’t even stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. I was barely aware of GC’s demise.

How old was he?

Dang. 7 years? That's not a good run. Gotta wonder if there was some Kitty life insurance involved...

FYI, our Cancer Cat is doing well after four months.

Good deal. Glad things went well.

Yeah, I would assume that cat was those people’s meal ticket for all intents and purpose. You would think they would be all in on treatment right?
It’s still hard for me to believe you can make money off of an internet gimmick. I didn’t even realize you made money off of You tube views until six months ago.
