its what i would call a copy position sensor, Porsche call it a Potentiometer and clips onto the seat motors, and the seat movement cables go right through it into the motor.
plugs into the seat memory ecu so the ecu knows where the seat is, if a memory position is saved.
this one is for one of the up / down seat motors
cheers

Was invited to attend a cool, curated show this past weekend. It was kind of high end, but fun. Lots of special stuff there.

just had some fag lighter decals made, left to right:

decal
lighter with new decal stuck on
lighter with good factory emblem
lighter with fading factory emblem
lighter with factory emblem rubbed off
good enough for a concourse judges eye, without another one to compare it side by side ?

:drink:
cheers

Very cool.

Where is this white line coming from? Does it present in real life, or is it just a camera 'illusion'?

Thanks, the white on the lighter is reflection from the LED strip lights above me, pictured below with the lights off
white around the decal is the backing of the sticker so you can get a fingernail in to peel it off

One of my brothers works part time at a Tabacco store. Went to visit him today and I HAD to buy this $20 3-torch lighter! The base is a yellow glass, so you can see how much butane you have and it looks like beer. :burnout:

She's finally home*. I'm happy with my tweaks. Need to continue test driving. Already used it for "date night" with the wife.

Next steps at home include more experiments/test fits and putting things back on (rear spacers, rear bumpers, ...), then install the Robb Budd (Classic9) & Brian Wasinger (olmann) custom interior. :burnout:

Kind of liking the "no fog lights trim" look (Euro versions needed) - reminds me of Tass' race car mod (headlights in fog area). Needs to be refined, however. Front wheels are optional 944 7inch et52.3 wheels widened 1 inch to give 8inch et65 wheels with a dished look to match the rear 8inch S4 wheels. Polished and protected early metal grill slats. Keyhole is polished (need to repolish and protect). Brake duct inlet partially painted to match early 928 lines. Headlight washer delete is a stock Porsche part with same plastic nut underneath as nozzles (still needs paint). Color matched A.I.R. S-5 wing.

*Until I get all the "phase 2" (tuning) parts collected and ready.

^^^^ ...and thoroughly cleaned and inspected, correct?

Looks Great!

How many GT resonators might a 6.5 L stroker require? (my conclusion is actually three (3), based on my handy basic* area equivalents chart and other ponderings... )
(*it does not account for additional friction losses or pipe thickness.)

Exhaust mods done. Had a broken exhaust hanger and WTWIT (While They Were In There), had some changes made:

1. Swapped X pipe for an H-pipe & placed closer to motor.
2. Added O2 sensor/bung to H-pipe.
3. Put in Corsa Extreme mids (used, from SRT-8 Dodge Challenger).
4. RMB-->two 12 inch bullet resonators.
5. Modified Borla Tip for dual 2.5" (Part # 20243)

Hi Flow cats coming after tuning.

Different, quieter sound - Love it!
