Old 996s are pulling strong numbers right now on BAT.
Thousands over fair value.
They made too many of those things to fight over.

Nice!...a 911 coupe in really good condition for under 18k is a great buy(even being a tippy)! It sounds/looks great in the video. Let us know when you're behind the wheel.
I haven't been following what's up with the 928, are you keeping or?

I'll be open to selling it but only when I'm confident it's back 100%

MORE WEIRD STUFF to ponder, how about a rebodied (automatic) Miata that mimics an Aston Martin?

I'm torn though, as a 'real' AM Cygnet minicar is also pretty freakish and much less aesthetically pleasing;

One of the cars I learned to drive in was my dad's 1960 190D sedan.
It had a cream exterior and an ivory leather interior, the very definition of bland ;-P
But the 4-speed manual column shift kept things otherwise interesting, and it had an extremely tight turning circle.
If I close my eyes, I can still remember the very Germanic smell of the interior (

)
Anyway, I never knew a wagon version was ever made...so I find this to be especially cool;

I don't know if the day is significant, but looking at today's new listings there are a number of 956's being sold on 5/25. Some pretty nice ones actually. Also a 959 came on too if you're trying to find something to do with 2 or 3 spare million..

It might have been the same car but saw one like this in Charlotte about 4 or 5 years ago for $1.2M

I’ve always liked the Lagonda, but feel that owning one would be a terrible idea. Would make buying a cheap Porsche seem brilliantly conservative in comparison.

As an analog guy the
F40 will likely always be my favorite Ferrari, and I still remember the vitriol at the time for the
288 GTO as the test bed for things to come.
I don't even care that it was apparently Enzo's last approved (controversial?) directional move, that's for the Tifosi to sort out.

I think the F40 looks cooler, but I'd probably prefer to be behind the wheel of a 288. I like a handful of creature comforts.
My guess is that the 288 ends between $7.5M and $8M.

It's not original. It has no racing history. It has no celebrity history. It was in a FEMA flood zone.
Whoever wins this pile of nothing special will be assured of one thing: plenty of talk behind his back.
