OK, you guys know I'm a nut for these little Acty's, but this combo of the Attack version (dual-range trans + locking diff) featuring a matching DTV Shredder (which I never heard of before) has my spidey sense tingling

This is most likely a different car, but way back in 1999 we flew to AZ to visit family over Christmas and as a hedge in case planes started falling out of the sky due to Y2K....we looked at a Silver Rose '88 944TS (aka 952) exactly like this one to possibly buy & drive home;
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1988- ... urbo-s-48/
It was kept at the Sottsdale airport and wasn't currently licensed/insured, so our less-than-ideal test drive consisted of bopping around the side roads within the grounds.
I kind of dug the funky color combo, even the trippy 70's strobed Sport Seat interior....and that car would apparently have been a decent fun investment to enjoy.

A bit of seller's remorse on this one. Sold yesterday for $125K. In January, it was Reserve Not Met at $155K from the same seller.

I built this Pocher F40 kit back in the early 1990's, as a fun Winter project.
I never expected to see one on BaT, but I really should start expecting the unexpected nowadays;
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/f40-scale-model/
This one I will follow for sure!

Dang, the Pocher F40 model sold for $1850!
From the comments, unbuilt kits sell for much more

^^ Rare to see a CS up for sale, they usually trade privately amongst a small group
Cool car, some paint work + physically in Germany may hold the price down a bit but will still go for big $$$

How about a VW bus camper trailer conversion?
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2017- ... r-trailer/
The ultimate tow vehicle would of course be a matching VW Wesfalia, but it had better be Subie-swapped or the like to be able to tow it

Sometimes I just don’t get it. One is an ICON build and the other is not. But I just don’t see one being worth $275K more than the other. Must be like Singer Porsches.

There was a lady near here that had one. She drove her kids to school in it everyday. I went to see it once in her garage and she fired it up for me. Such a sweet sound.

A friend imported a R5 Turbo2 brand new, it had to be shipped to a shop (in TX, IIRC) to get Federalized before it could be registered, but he got a MI plate and drove it quite a bit.
He spec'ed the mid-level (185hp, again IIRC) tune and
when it ran right.......it was amazingly quick

Holy Frijoles, you just never know what will pop up on BaT!!!
When I was a little kid, my dad the train nut had a ride-on
hand-crank-powered railroad large oval track layout in the back yard called Yard Bird.
I never saw one like it before or since, so imagine my surprise to learn they made both electric and gasoline-powered streamliners as well;

The hand-powered cars in blue are what we had...
