Are copper washers ok to use under the block oil cooler fittings. I have some at hand if not I can get the standard ones. I am replacing my oil cooler hoses and one fitting let go and yes chipped the thread a bit. JB weld time. I actually have both off as I was thinking about going to AN fittings but changed my mind. Hoses are in being replaced.

Gotta figure there’s a good reason The Factory used aluminum crush rings on every part of the block where there’s a crush ring.
