I know that the early ones are longer than the later ones, but are there any other differences?

The reason for asking is that I'm interested in buying some adjustable ones from this site:

Will it be enough to have them shortened to later length? Will the ball joint fit?

The manufacturer will make them shorter, just want to know if other changes are needed.

Track guys that have late cars use the OB lowers, which are longer to get more camber. They even need to space out the uppers to not get to much camber. I don't know if the OB racers fit later uppers.
