Heya!
New Chiffon White owner here....you know the one!

What can I say?
Drove it all the way back to Northeast Pennsylvania, some 500 miles, and...
- it was pretty hot outside ---> the air-conditioner kept me cool
- it started to rain heavily ---> the windshield wipers worked flawlessly, and not a drop of water made it inside
- it eventually got dark ---> and the lights performed as they should and I got home safe and sound, and in style!

MANY thanks to Joel and Mike for their hard work on this.
No, it's not a showroom perfect vehicle but that was clear from the listing (and price); there's plenty of things need sorting here and there, I know, I know....but who cares: WHAT A CAR!!!

The transaction couldn't have gone smoother, and it was a real pleasure to meet Joel and Mike, oh, and as an added BONUS: I got to see almost all of Ohio's beautiful countryside! (inside joke :lol2: :roflmao: )

Will definitely have MANY questions....it's new to me, all this 928 stuff...

Congrats!

Never seen the car but know the sellers since many years (from Frenzy).
You can't go wrong with a car from those guys.
Joel and Mike are true honest 928 guys.

Enjoy!

Beautiful picture BTW.

Hello MAL!

Hmmm...beware buying 928's from 'Shyster & Shyster, Inc.'
It leads you down a path of insanity from which there is no return...

Wow, thanks all for the very kind words & welcome!

Unfortunately FRENZY doesn't look like it's going to pan out this year....other commitments/travel plans will come in the way sadly. :frown:
Such a shame, as I would have liked so meet all the 928s and their owners.

(bolding mine)

I think I know what you mean!

So, although I have far more pressing things to do, including more important things to take care of on the 928, I couldn't help myself, and cleaned up pretty much the ONLY rust spot in the engine bay.
No idea why I HAD to do this....just because it bothered me, I guess?

Need some help on this...
So, we knew she was sort of sitting weirdly: a bit low at the back and (what appeared to be slightly) high at the front. I took care of the back, and was wondering where exactly this is supposed to be measured? There's a flat spot somewhere from where to measure from the ground up, but where exactly? I did see online somewhere that the "poor man's" rudimentary way of measuring is from the ground to inside the fender; this is supposed to be 27" up front, which this is.
Also, does raising the back end, change the front?

This is what it looks like now; does this seem about right to you guys?

Okay.
It's about 180mm front and 165mm in the back now. Understand it's supposed to be 170mm +- 10mm?
As I can't (easily) lower the front, I might raise the rear by 5mm to 10mm.

Specs are:
Front 180 +/- 10mm
Rear 173 +/- 10mm

So you're good at front but a bit low in the rear.

Oh, great!
Will raise it a few mm in the back. Thanks for the info!
