Had a blast yesterday with the local Porsche Club. Ran about 350 miles through the twisties and hills south of Pittsburgh and into northern WVA. It was a rainy/misty day, but not a downpour, and the cars all got pretty filthy, but what a blast. There were 14 Porsches (just one shark - mine), and we had some very fun, spirited driving in parts of the run, and great scenery through it all. Stopped at OhioPyle park among other places. Finished with a nice dinner at a very nice restaraunt, and had a couple of single malt McCallen 12's to finish the day. These cars are so great to drive. No fatigue, gobs of power, and rock steady. Most of the folks were very interested in it, and were quite impressed at how it handled and ran with the pack, especially with the modern 911's.
