What a PIA it was to get the dust boots on, and the pistons back in the cylinders. I've done this before on other cars, and none were like this. I needed C clamp to slowly work the pistons back in. The trick with the dust boots is to put them on the piston, pull down allowing the lip just below the bottom of the piston, then get the lip into the caliper groove first. With the lube, that is very tricky. Then you would think you could just push the piston in with your hands, no such luck. Anyway, got it all together after much struggle.

well, everything back together, and car is back on the ground with the brakes bedded in. I had an additional hiccup - the crush washers at the brake line to caliper connection. I put new ones in, because you shouldn't re-use the old ones (because they've been crushed, duh!), but they weren't the exact same size (on the o/s dia). I was worried they would not work, and they didn't, on the passenger side. I ended up re-annealing the old crush washer - boil water in a pan, drop in washer for a short time, then dump into cold water. It helps to reactivate the metal. I did that, reinstalled, and no more leaks. Torque to spec.

I assume they are copper or aluminum. I don't think 212 deg is hot enough to anneal either
