Any dyno numbers, or even wild guesses, for that setup? It's very sharp looking!
Sorry. Missed your question first time 'round. No dyno 'brag sheet' numbers.
AO on The Other Forum posted some brag sheets a long, long time ago. Numbers might be in his signature. But, he was running one of 3 "alpha" prototypes and with a smaller pulley. The Alphas had a more restrictive intake. The Betas (like mine) had a redesigned intake that flowed a lot, lot better.
SOTP (Seat of the pants) numbers are ~425 ft-lbs / ~385 hp (crank.) The top-end was never tuned for timing - requires days of dyno - so the timing is 'safe' not 'good.' I think there's another 50 hp in there with proper dyno time. My todo list has included rectifying two issues with the Betas before spending bucks on dyno for about 10 years now. Next winter (21/22) I will pull the engine, take it down to the crank, build it back up with some special bits, fix the Beta issues and dyno tune. That's the plan at least. Even without a 'good' tune it's a crap-ton of fun.
My biggest complaint is that there's
not enough supercharger gear whine.
