This may not be the correct area to post this, but since it's 928 related, and not for sale, I thought it at least somewhat appropriate.
I am in the midst of swapping out the stock engine in my 78 928 for a LS1, and realized that I have no reason to hold onto the stock engine, nor the spare from the prior owner's t-boned 81.
Is anyone interested in a running 78 engine, and/or a supposedly functional 81 engine?
I'm in the southern part of the Seattle Tacoma metro area, and at this point am more interested in putting them in hands that can use them, rather than just scrapping them to recoup the garage space.
The 78 engine is still in the car at the moment, so I can fire it up if someone wanted to see if hear it running, though it does have vacuum leaks and at least a couple of dribbling fuel nozzles, so it's cranky when it's been sitting.
Compression numbers looked good when I tested it, all within ~10 psi of each other, IIRC, though I will need to grab my notes if actual numbers are of interest.
As said at the top, free to a good home, though if someone wanted to drop a little change in the petty cash, no objections...
Happy wrenching, and happy new year's to you all.

(rescued from a scrapper, getting a LS1 because I hated working on CIS when I had a MB...)
