It seems within IMGUR the GIFs are actually videos. So you can provide a link to it but unfortunately this forum software doesn't yet embed those videos like they do YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter.

I've been trying to get in touch with the developer of this forum theme for quite some time but no luck. Once I do get in touch with him I'll ask what it takes to get IMGUR embed working as well.

For now unfortunately you'd have to share the link instead.
