I wish I could have one. That is all.
Pretty quiet so far in the exotic forum :)

I think we need to define Exotics
Are they defined by price or by the people who own them?
If by price at what price point does it become Ecotics?
I tend to think any car over 1 mil is an exotic so not all Ferrari, Lambo's, or McLaren's are exotics
and as to who own them if they a bottle of Grey Poupon in the glove box they are Exotics.

This one gets driven like they should. Shows up to a lot of the local events and on one drive he and I were bantering back and forth. I wanted him in front of me so I could hear his car, he and his passenger wanted to drive behind me so they could hear mine. Sadly, he stayed behind.
If I had unlimited funds, one of these would be in my garage.

Damn that yellow is gorgeous. I love that primal shriek they make too. Nothing street legal sounds like that, not even an Enzo. My buddy has a guards red over tan one. He has offered to let me drive it, but I have so far declined. Too much exposure if I fuck up, and from what I hear of that "on/off" clutch, I could likely get in bad trouble real quick.

My friend's GT. I'm trying to work out a swap for my 914.
914's are soaring in value, so I expect to have the GT in my garage soon.

Always loved the GT too. Never got to drive one, but my dealer did let me start and rev one in the showroom. Pure sex!

the 959 vs the CGT - it would be a Hobson's choice for me.

Ha! And that's only the north wing of his garage! A few more areas of his garage (the cobra is signed by Shelby):

I just saw this thread.
I saw one in the local dealership when they first got shipped. The owner of the dealership was pissed because they would only let him put 4 miles on it in a drive. 460k sticker. With my druel on it.

There was someone in our local PCA chapter who had one. Silver and when he revved it up I thought there was an F1 car in front of us. Gorgeous design, looks a lot bigger in photos than it does in real life.
Whoever paid $460k for it made a good investment with what they're selling for now!

I got to drive a friend's CGT several years ago.
It was a very nice and well cared for example, so I was curious if they really lived up to all the hype.
While I truly enjoyed the driving experience, the exhaust note was just OK and no way did it feel like it had 600hp.
Still, a very pretty and classic Porsche to be sure

Huh.
Plausible explanation is that it’s this one:

You beat me to it as I was going to post this same link too!
These competitions are great but some who don't know any better will assume the GT1 is slow because it doesn't do drag races so well. But in reality it's out of its element here. Oh well, still entertaining.

Ha, a couple years ago a friend told me that she has a Carrera GT. I went to look at it, and remember seeing it and thinking to myself "WTF.... it's a 944!"
I wasn't previously aware of the 944 CGT.

Actually it's a 924 but it LOOKS like a 944. Yeah confusing but that design is what inspired the 944 to take shape.
