Agreed!

They have such a presence especially in person. In photos it's sometimes difficult to tell them from the 991 but in person quite striking.

Yes, and large....which is one thing I don't love. To me the 993, even the 996 are about the right size. Even though I'll probably own another 977....just a tad large for my liking.

It’s a lot easier if you sit in one (992, new Pano, new Pepper) and attempt to use the HMI.

Agreed, you don’t realize how large they have become until you see one next to a 993/964/3.2. Funny thing is my 964 is about the same size as my daughter’s Mini Countryman R60.

Our 2015 Mini is bigger than my 996. So much for being a Mini, right?

My point.

Yeah, I'm sure once in the driver seat of the newer generations, one can let go of the size and enjoy the additional grip.

yes, that's a sweet looking car. Cool that the 911 never had to do a retro build - Porsche has kept the 911 DNA throughout its entire run. There is no mistaking it.

That's a modern version of the classic whale tail! Sweet Joel.

BTW, delete the GT3 on the rear :hiding:

Thanks guys! Ed... the GT3 tramp stamp is long gone. I just got the car back from Dan Crytzer at Deutsche RennSport (DRS) in Pittsburgh (he does AWESOME work and is quite affordable). So now that Dan has taken care of installing the IMSB Solution, UAOS, WP, Half Shafts, Plug Tubes, Coils, Tiptronic Transmission Service & Seals and an entire HOST of other DEFFERED mechanical issues I can concentrate on cleaning up the rear deck lid and applying the CORRECT "Carrera" tramp stamp just below the whale tail. Chances are I'll bring her to the Vintage Races in Pittsburgh... I MAY bring the 81 928 Euro but it's my daily driver and not up for a car show, although it is fast as hell... Now that the engine is back where it's supposed to be :)
