Since most of us connected via RL technical specific to our Pcar models, I thought it would be nice to know what model specific sections you frequented on RL?

I'm a 911 guy since owning my first, a 1972 911T. In the subsequent years I've various Pcars and currently have 2 Cayennes and a 944S2.

Spend most of my time in the 997, 993, 944/968 forums. Unfortunately I didn't play much in the turbo forums, or GT since I have kids to get through school.

Mostly the 997 turbo section (along with regular 997 forum), as well as occasionaly the 981 forum.

And of course the OT and P&C sections (mostly reading, rarely posting in those)

First P-car was a 944 S2 Cabrio that I purchased in 2002. So I spent time on the 944 board but in 2009 purchased my 996 so been a part of the board since.

Then in 2016 I bought the Cayenne Turbo so became a member of that board as well.

Paid for membership as soon as I could so had been a fan of OT for the whole time too.

When the cars are running fine though there wasn't a lot to talk about so lately had been primarily spending time in OT.

First P car was a 1980 911SC Weissach.
Then an '83SC Cab
Then an '88 Carrera Cab
Now 993C2S and a 2012 Cayenne TT.

I follow the Cayenne forum (958) and all 911 models forum. Also check the 928 forum.

Lurked on the OT P&C forum quite a bit as well.

Mostly the 997/997Turbo forum, the 955 Cayenne and the 986 Boxster which brought me RL in the first place, then OT P&C which brought me here.

Was at my oldest friend's place yesterday. The ones below he is rebuilbing for folks, 3.0, 2.0, there is a 356 4 cyl in the back ground. However, the one above was from a special builder. He is only installing it for the restoration guys.

As for hanging I like the 997 area for the Jake versus Harteck dust ups. Sometimes the 992 just to be amazed.

Took me 35 years from the dream to the actual buy of my first Porsche, 2017 991.2 base.....it was a stretch to get that, but the kids were through school and I had just gone through a ridiculous divorce. I thought it's now or never.

2 cayennes.
One an 06 TTS, heavily modded (larger turbos, injectors, larger brakes, custom exhaust, custom intakes to remove all plastic and much more...) that needs a complete engine rebuild nowadays - it’s the only 2 stroke 5 cylinder cayenne out there IMO. When it’s done someday, it’s gonna be pretty nice

Wife’s 08 CTT, pretty stock apart from a tune and the fact that my friend didn’t like the color of gold paint he chose so he had multiple accents laid with 24k gold. Currently for sale, on the hunt for a 958.2 hybrid since my SO mostly drives around town.

Where from, porsche-wise?
Primarily transaxle cars so far.
928, 951, 944
Have 4 928 now. Son has 951.
We are based near richmond VA
Resurecting them is therapeutic.
We focus on mechanicals and drive them hard.

Oddball claim to fame...spotted what turned out to be serial no.1 928, row, on craigslist one day about 8 years ago. Helped a buddy drag it home. Last year that car was displayed at PEC Atlanta and our group gathered there for a get together. What a rush the day we first put eyes on that car and gently winched it onto the trailer!

Also had a minor supporting roll resurecting a legit 4k mi 944 that had been tucked away for nearly 30yrs. True time capsule.

Really want to modernize though.

Dream garage has 3 turbos: cayenne, 911 and panamera all in same paint color as JWise's 928 above.

Kudos to those of you posting pics of the gorgeous hardware in post above!!

I started out in the 968 section and sometimes the general 4-cylinder transaxle car section. Never really understood why those were organized into two completely separate categories.

Kinda stopped after I sold the 968, and never bothered with the "Other Marques" section for my Z06.

But then I started reading the 993 section as I've been saving up to buy a 993 and planning my looooong program of modifications.

Started in the 944 section, bought a non running "barnfind" that had been sitting almost 15 years, due to a bad clutch. Learned a lot over there, and turned that car into a solid runner.
Now, the 996 area.

Mostly visited the 996 forum, until it turned into the "What did you do with your 996 today" forum. There's only so much of that one can take. ;)

Forums I frequent over on the other place:

997 - Current car.
991 - Future car education.
964 - Spent 12 yrs in this forum. Sold her off and Im sure I will kick myself someday.
912 - Co-owner of my fathers 68 912 (he purchased it in 1971 from Vasek Polak) so I still wander by occasionally.
O/T - Lurker and occasional posts.
P&C - Lurker and enjoy the show.
